Berlin meets the World - Together and not against each other
24.09.24 - Capital Club Berlin

Invitation to the Next Event

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to invite you to our next event as part of the dialogue series “Berlin meets the World.” On Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, an exciting evening focused on global trade challenges will take place at the Capital Club Berlin. Under the title “Securing International Sea Routes and Supply Chains in Today’s Globally Connected World,” we aim to discuss current topics and explore solutions together.

Securing Global Supply Chains

The importance of secure international sea routes for global trade is greater today than ever before. Every day, we witness how these vital transport arteries are threatened by geopolitical tensions or targeted attacks. Together, we will examine how crucial it is to protect supply chains and maintain global trade relationships in times of increasing risk.

Our Esteemed Speakers

We are delighted to welcome a distinguished selection of speakers, including experts from the fields of maritime trade, diplomacy, and business. Among them, Eberhard J. Trempel, Director General of the German Global Trade Forum Berlin, will share his insights on the current situation. Other speakers include Captain Douglas “Buzz” Peterson, Marine Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Germany, as well as representatives from Maldivian and Mongolian diplomacy. Their insights and analyses will help to provide a comprehensive picture of the current challenges.
