Africa in Bayreuth
Since 1975, the University of Bayreuth has been a significant center for African studies, further strengthened by the Excellence Cluster "Africa Multiple." Through interdisciplinary research and collaborations with African partner universities, a deeper understanding of the African continent is developed. Additionally, Bayreuth is home to the Iwalewahaus, which houses the largest collection of contemporary African art in Europe.

Soccer Event Ubuntu
The project "Ubuntu – Football Unites" supports charitable initiatives that bring Europe and Africa closer together on both a sporting and economic level through football. In 2024, events will be held in Berlin and Monrovia that will strengthen team spirit and promote exchange between the continents through penalty shootouts and training camps. The focus is on the Ubuntu philosophy, which prioritizes community over individual well-being.

The opening event for the horse race with an Arabian flair is the ball on Friday evening at the casino, attended by high-ranking and renowned personalities such as nobility and aristocracy. The ball and the horse race offer guests an exclusive event in Baden-Baden.
